I began today by attending a very peaceful funeral service for a lady.

She was handicapped since I knew her. She went to Mass on her own. Later she had to use the wheelchair. People liked to help her because she never demanded anything except prayer.
 
From time to time, she gave me a call, just telling me that she suffered and she entrusted herself to God. She never talked more than two minutes because she knew that I must be busy.She needed encouragment and asked for prayer only. Now, after long suffering, she passed peacefully to the Lord whom she loves.
 
This morning, more than sixty friends saw her off with prayers. Fr. Dossi presided the service with dignity...God rewards his daughter with heavenly peace... She had lived a rich life on earth with poverty, simplicity and heavenly joy that nobody can take away.
 
智慧篇 7:1-6  (生死人人相同)

我也是有死的人，同眾人一樣；我也是出於用土受造的原祖，在母胎中形成了肉軀，十月之久，在母血中凝結，由男精與合夢的慾樂而形成。我一出生，便呼吸了公共的空氣，落在具有同一命運的地上，哭出了第一聲，與眾人無異；我在襁褓中，受了母親的撫育和照顧。沒有一位君王，另有不同的誕生，因為，人人進入生命的路，只有一條，去世亦然。
